Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) – K105.3 is proud to announce its annual 12-Hour Charity Radiothon, taking place on Friday, May 9, to benefit the Jackson YMCA Youth Programs. This special event honors the legacy of Jamie McKibbin on what would have been his 48th birthday. A dedicated hour from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM will focus on raising funds for the Jamie McKibbin Broadcasting Scholarship Fund. 

From 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, K105.3 will broadcast live, featuring fun activities, entertaining stunts, and exceptional auction items to encourage donations. The 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM time frame will be simulcast on NewsTalk 970AM/101.5FM, so regular listeners of “AM Jackson” can expect a different show format for that day. Listeners can tune in, participate in live Facebook content, and contribute to the cause throughout the day. 

Auction Highlights (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM):
