Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Dan Greer is hosting his first Dan the Man Medicare 101 Thursday session on October 2 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Jackson District Library Meijer Branch on Airport Road. With Medicare enrollment season beginning soon, Dan says that this will be a chance to get educated about the process.

Topics covered include the different types of Medicare, associated costs, how to enroll and enrollment deadlines, and Part D Rx coverage.

Dan says it’s important to be educated about Medicare now so that you aren’t stuck with a subpar plan next year.

Dan encourages Medicare enrollees to use local agents to help with the process, and to try to avoid doing it over the phone.
