Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Napoleon High School Principal Patrick Dillon has been named the next superintendent of Napoleon Community Schools.
The school board made the announcement following final interviews Monday night. Board president Jason Breining says Dillon brings strong leadership experience and a student-focused mindset that will build on the district’s success.
Dillon will step into the role on July 1, replacing longtime superintendent Jim Graham, who’s retiring after 22 years.
Dillon, who’s worked in education for over three decades, has been with Napoleon Schools since 2008 and became principal in 2019. He says he’s not planning major changes, but wants to enhance what’s already working well in the district.
A Jackson County native, Dillon says the strong relationships he’s built in the community will help with a smooth transition. Contract details are still being finalized.
