Brooklyn, Mich. (WKHM) — With NASCAR coming to Michigan International Speedway this weekend, McKibbin Media Group has been able to speak with multiple Cup Series drivers as they prepare for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday. Michigan native and 2024 NASCAR Rookie of the Year Carson Hocevar says that there is always some extra motivation to do well in front of a home crowd.

Hocevar commands the No. 77 car.

Alex Bowman, who drives the No. 48 car, feels confident heading into the race despite crashes ruining his past couple of Michigan runs.

William Byron, in the No. 24 car, detailed his training regimen that keeps him feeling his best while having to remain in the vehicle for all those hours.

The FireKeepers Casino 400 begins at 2 p.m. with live radio coverage available on 95.9 The Power Cow. The Power Cow also has broadcasts of Friday’s ARCA Menards Series race beginning at 5 p.m., as well as the Craftsman Truck Series DQS Solutions and Staffing 250 on Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. Scheduled start times are dependent on the weather’s cooperation.
