Meet Jamie: The Shelter Queen
This week’s K105.3 and Kibby Park Animal Hospital’s Pet of the Week is Jamie, a 4-year-old kitty who has been at the shelter since December. When she first arrived, Jamie was quite nervous and shy. But now that she’s figured out how things work, she has the staff completely wrapped around her paw. She enjoys head rubs and chin scratches and happily leans in for them.
Jamie also has a bit of a diva side, especially when it comes to food. She definitely knows what she likes, and Sheba cat food sits at the top of her royal menu. If dinner service is late, she may politely remind you who runs the palace.
