Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office announced on Wednesday afternoon that they have executed 6 search warrants, with the assistance from the multiple partner agencies, at various locations throughout Jackson County on Tuesday (September 2).

These actions were taken as a result of the ongoing investigation into the homicide that occurred at 103 Lincoln Court in Summit Township on May 17 of this year. The Sheriff’s Office says they are diligently pursuing intelligent leads on this matter in order to bring this case to a resolution and ensure the safety of the public.

Authorities say that while specific details about the evidence seized or individuals involved cannot be released at this time, the Sheriff’s Office hopes to provide additional information to the public in the near future.
