The information is in, and Michigan is reporting that the state generated almost two billion dollars in online gambling revenue last year in 2023. Michigan ranks fifth in the nation considering both in-person and online gambling with a total revenue being reported of $3.6 billion overall. Data from Detroit’s casinos, three in total, shows those entities paid the state over $99 million in wagering taxes for just table games and slots for 2023. Online gambling became legal in Michigan in 2021.
