
Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — At approximately 7:37 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, two Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies and a Sergeant responded to a car vs pedestrian hit and run crash on Tompkins Road near Woodard Road in Rives Township.
Upon initial interviews on scene, it was determined by authorities that the pedestrian was intentionally hit with the vehicle. The Deputies then made contact with the suspect driver in a Target parking lot.
The driver was ultimately arrested for Assault With Intent to Murder, Failure to Render Aid Causing Serious Bodily Impairment, and leaving the scene of a crash.
