Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Prosecutor’s office and the Jackson City Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Antonio Treyvonne Green. Authorities say that Green has been charged with Second Degree Murder, Discharging a Firearm in or at a Building Causing Death, and Felony Firearm.
On July 27, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m. Jackson City Police Officers responded to the 1500 block of Carl Breeding Way for a call of shots fired. Officers arrived to find eighteen-year-old Mia Sims, suffering from a gunshot wound in her neck area.
Sims was transported to Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, where she died from the injuries she sustained from the gunshot wound. Sims was a Jackson resident, born in 2007.
Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 9-1-1 or contact City of Jackson detectives at 517-768-6432. People can also leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 517-483-STOP (6867).
Second Degree Murder carries a penalty of up to Life in prison with the possibility of parole.
