The Top 15 movies that represent Generation X include some of my all-time favorites. Although I am not a part of Generation X, these movies are classics and bring me back to some fun memories from my childhood. And not only were the movies a classic, but the soundtracks were also as iconic as the movies themselves.

Movieweb.com put the entire list together, but here are my Top 5 from that list and in no particular order because they’re all too good to choose:

5. Reality Bites- Watched the movie a thousand times and wore out the soundtrack as well.

4. Wayne’s World- So many classic lines to quote and one of the best renditions of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”

3. The Breakfast Club- The ‘brat pack’ made detention ‘cool’

2. Dazed and Confused- Another example of a classic movie with a classic soundtrack

1. The Goonies- Because who doesn’t want to go on a trip with your friends to find a pirate ship full of treasure?
