
Hillsdale, Mich. (WKHM) — On Saturday, May 17, just after 1:50 p.m., deputies with the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Cambria Rd near W. Card Rd for a personal injury crash. According to authorities, a preliminary investigation of the crash showed that 51-year-old Lawrence Sharp of Reading was traveling southbound on Cambria Rd when 60-year-old Carol Sundquist of Schellsburg, PA failed to stop at a stop sign while traveling westbound on Card Rd, colliding with the driver’s side of Sharp’s vehicle.
There was a female passenger in Sharp’s vehicle at the time of the crash. The male driver was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital by Reading Emergency Unit, while the two females were transported to Hillsdale Community Health Center by Reading Emergency Unit. The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted on scene by Coldwater Towing, Reading Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Hudson Emergency Unit. This crash remains under investigation by Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office.
