The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce said in a recent press release that they and their members were “blindsided” by the Jackson City Council’s recent vote to cut water discounts to some of Jackson’s largest users. The chamber said the city voted without warning, thus lacking transparency. WKHM’s Greg O’Connor addressed that accusation Wednesday morning with Jackson Mayor Derek Dobies.
