Governor Whitmer has announced that first-responders from more than 60 communities across the state will receive $5 million from the First Responder Training and Grant Program.
The funds are intended to hire and train new first-responders.
Some of the Mid-Michigan communities receiving funds: Hanover Township set to receive about $10,000, Hillsdale County nearly $110,000, Leslie around $6,000 and Potterville will receive $63,000, among other communities across the state.
