After seven months of virtual meetings, the Jackson City Council is planning it’s first full in-person meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March. Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns and the ending of Executive Orders on virtual meetings, this meeting will be held outside in a pavilion at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center at 1107 Adrian Street on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m.

The City urges residents who are attending the meeting to continue to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. City officials will be wearings masks and seated six feet apart. Other safety precautions, such as cleaning microphones between residents comments, will be enacted. A live stream of the meeting will be broadcast on the City’s Facebook page and website. Due to the remote location, this meeting will not be broadcast on Comcast Cable Channel 21.
