A semi-truck jumped a guardrail on I-94, crashing into two trees near Seymour Road Friday at around 12:30PM.

The cab of the semi ripped apart upon impact.  Staff from nearby Jackson Nissan saw the crash and rushed the scene on foot.  They discovered the truck driver, a middle-aged male, responsive and still buckled up in the drivers seat of the twisted cab.  The driver was sent to the hospital for evaluation, but was described as relatively unscathed.

The right lane of westbound I-94 was closed for around 3 hours.

The accident remains under investigation.
