Last week State Representative Julie Alexander along with Rep. Sarah Lieghtner and Senator Mike Shirkey honored two Jackson World War II veterans, Lee Zimmerman and Herb Elfring, at the state capitol before all of the Michigan lawmakers. Alexander talked about the emotional day on WKHM last Friday.
