The Department of Health and Human Services is warning of a phone scam happening in the area.  Callers are posing as DHHS employees and asking for personal, confidential information.  The scam also involves something called “spoofing” which makes the number on caller ID appear to be coming from the DHHS.  According to the DHHS director, the organization never asks for any detailed personal information on the telephone.
